I'm linking up with Collaboration Cuties once again to share a favorite text. This week's topic is math. The fun math text I would like to highlight is 1 + 1 = 5 and Other Unlikely Additions by David LaRochelle.
This book is so much fun. It offers different equations such as 1 + 1 = 3 (what?). Yes, 1 goat plus 1 unicorn equals 3 horns. My kids love this book. It is also great for predicting.
If you would like for your own students to create some unlikely equations, I created a companion mini book to go with this text.
You can have a free copy by clicking on the picture below.
This is a great book. Here's the break down . . .
Thanks for reading and be sure to check out the other math text suggestions at Collaboration Cuties.
I am loving this book, thank you so much for this book suggestion. I will be reviewing math equations and this will be a fun little end of the year twist. Thanks so much for the freebie! Love, love, love this!
